Vibratory Bowl Feeder for Stud Bolts

Elscint Automation has developed a special type of Vibratory Bowl Feeder for feeding Studs.

Elscint Vibratory Bowl Feeder Model 400 is being used for feeding Studs.

Studs of the size M3 to M10 can be accommodated in the same Bowl with slight Change Over Tooling.

The lengths can vary from 12 mm to 90 mm.

The Feed Rate for these Studs varies between 70 to 300 Pieces Per Minute depending upon the length of the Stud Bolts.

The Bowl is made of Stainless Steel 304 mateial.

Due to Metal to Metal contact, the noise generated is in the vicinity of 90 Db, but with Elscint Polyurethane Bowl Lining, this noise can be reduced to approx.

75 Db.

With Elscint Acrylic Cover, the Noise Level can be further reduced to less than 70 Db.

The Studs are then fed to a Thread Rolling Machine.

With such high feed rate, the productivity of the Fastener Manufacturer has increased tremendously.
