A vibrator bowl feeder for feeding of very thin washers uses a special track to ensure that any components tending to override each other fall back into the bowl.

Indian ISO 9001:2000 certified, vibratory parts feeder manufacturer, Elscint Automation, has developed a vibrator bowl feeder for feeding of very thin washers Elscint told manufacturingtalk.com that in case of very thin parts, the tendency is to override one on top of the other, which results in jamming of the washers

Additionally it is difficult to segregate two washers in case they come together.

Elsc int said that a regular 'wiper' does not work in such a case.

However, Elscint has designed a special type of feeder bowl which helps to eliminate this problem completely.

Instead of using a wiper, Elscint has developed a special track, which ensures that the overriding components fall back into the bowl.

This eliminates the possibility of jamming due to the overriding of the thin components.

This track is made in stainless steel with a very high accuracy.

Elscint said that high speeds too are possible for such parts.

Additionally, as with all Elscint parts feeders, an overflow arrangement is provided which helps in eliminating the need of a separate auto-switch off mechanism.

In fact, such innovativeness makes Elscint Automation the first choice of SPM builders when it comes to difficult components and applications, said the company.
