Vibratory bowl feeder assembles
fasteners
A novel vibratory bowl feeder assembles screws/bolts and washers, an operator needs only to load the items into the bowl feeder and they come out in an assembled fashion.
Elscint Automation said that most automootive companies using screws and washers while assembling a vehicle Time is very important and every second which the operator saves can translate into increased productivity and increased number of vehicles produced

Stacking machine developed for bearing parts
Useful for stacking items like bearings cages/bearing washers and such other components the stacking machine is for automatically feeding components into a vibratory bowl feeder.
Sorter and grader does not bind or grip parts
Designed to feed and sort and grade components having cylindrical and spherical geometry the rolls of this unit do not bind or grip the parts and are extremely sensitive to fine tolerances.
Usually the operator has to assemble the screw and washer and then fix it at the required place.
Though this process takes little time, it results into a lot of time when the day's production is taken into account.
In the example of where the washer and the screw is kept ready duly assembled for the operator , it can save some time.
There is a huge time saving if one takes into account the number of screws and washers assembled every day by one operator, said Elscint to manufacturingtalk.
However, for doing the assembly, either one requires a costly assembly machine or else the assembly has to be done manually off-line.
This too requires an operator.
Elscint, therefore, has developed a novel Vibratory Bowl Feeder, which can assemble screws/bolts and washers.
You just need to dump the screws and washers in the bowl feeder and they come out in an assembled fashion.
Pokayoke concept has been implemented to ensure that not a single unassembled screw and washer come out of the bowl feeder.
Normally, for assembly of screws and washers, two bowl feeders are required along with a motorised or pneumatic station where they are assembled.
This bowl feeder uses a novel assembly concept pioneered by Elscint and makes the assembly in only a single vibratory bowl feeder.
This not only saves space but also electricity consumption as only one single vibratory bowl feeder is required and eliminates the need for a motorised assembly station.
Elscint said its vibratory bowl feeder adds tremendous value for users of Fasteners like automotive manufacturers who presently have to assemble screws and washers by hand or have to use costly assembly equipment.
Hence, this vibratory bowl feeder not only reduces labour but also helps improve productivity.
As Elscint has made this an standard equipment, most of the components are kept in stock and deliveries can be fast.
This 'Assembly Vibratory Bowl Feeder' has generated tremendous response from customers.
This further emphasises Elscint's pioneering efforts in the vibratory bowl feeder industry, said the company.
