Self-adhesive gasket cuts electrical
interference

Self-adhesive gasket is now available in fire resistant versions to UL94 VO and 94HB ratings and in EMC protection formats to reduce electrical and magnetic interference.

EMKA 1016 series self-adhesive gasket is now available in fire resistant versions to UL94 VO and 94HB ratings and in EMC protection formats to reduce electrical and magnetic interference This closed cell expanded neoprene comes in standard strips from 3mm to 80mm thick and catalogue widths from 10mm up to 80mm, with unlimited custom configurations, e.g sheets and punched shapes

EMC versions have a conductive external skin, which attenuates the transmission of electro-magnetic interference across the sealed boundary.

Typical applications for 1016 gasket include gap sealing, noise reduction, e.g from internal equipment; vibration damping and impact cushioning on cabinets, furniture and machinery.

1016 series in neoprene and natural rubber, is self-adhesive to clean non-porous surfaces, e.g painted/unpainted metal, plastics, sealed natural materials, e.g varnished timber.

Specification of 1016 series neoprene includes working temperatures of +70degC to -30degC - fire resistant versions +85degC to -40degC and resistance to many typical commercial/industrial chemicals and gases. Request a free brochure from Emka UK ...
