Having previously undertaken manufacture in-house, the increasing complexity of new product designs prompted Cintel to outsource the production of its systems, enabling it to concentrate on added-value functions such as design, marketing and after sales support.
As part of the contract, Exception EMS undertakes the complete build of the standalone diTTo system, which includes the assembly of metalwork, complex precision engineered parts and high technology printed circuit boards.
Calne based Exception also undertakes alignment testing prior to delivery to Cintel.
Sales and marketing director at Exception, Mike Fairclough, comments: "This totally outsourced solution makes sense to Cintel, a company that wants to concentrate on innovative design and customer service.

Marisa Giles, general manager at Cintel, said: "Outsourcing the production of complex systems such as diTTo has enabled us to focus on other parts of the business and add value to customers in other ways, with the knowledge that product assembly is being managed and quality checked by Exception EMS." diTTo is a super-2K pin-registered film scanner and produces the highest quality file outputs, very quickly, at low price.
As a pin-registered model, diTTo is able to hold the film in place very precisely, creating a very high quality image. Request a free brochure from EMS ...
