These machines had previously been programmed by the customers' Controls staff, therefore, summary data for time and cost to develop the PLC program and debug the program on both machines by the Controls staff were provided.
The bottom-line results were cost savings in excess of 60% and a time savings of over 85% using The PLC Code Generator to develop the PLC programs.
Both programming and program debug time were reduced significantly.
