The software is downloadable via the website and runs as a client application on the user's machine, connected to a database hosted by The PLC Code Generator.
Users simply configure their machine project including all machine I/O (inputs and outputs), I/O relationships, and general machine sequence.
The software then produces a complete PLC program with full machine control (including automatic, and manual step forward/reverse modes) and diagnostic functionality as well as a complete set of program address and rung comments.
Also included is programming and tag generation for use via commonly used touchscreens or HMI's.
Currently, the PLC Code Generator can develop ladder logic programs for Allen-Bradley and Omron PLC's; however, future platform compatibility will begin with Siemens or others, depending on customer platform demand.
The PLC Code Generator is also currently in the process of establishing Sales Associate relationships to further broaden its' offerings.
