Guide helps on compressed air systems
costs
If engineers and staff have preconceived ideas about how much the factory's air condition is costing, then a free guide will update them and show ways of how to save energy too.
Compressed air systems manufacturer, EnergAir, is offering a free guide 'Challenge Convention in Compressed Air' explaining how to cut costs The guide is described by Energair as an 'insiders report' describes several ways to improve compressed air system energy efficiency

Compressor analysis results in costs savings
The potential energy savings identified at Colgate Palmolive in Manchester led to the installation of an Enercon Energy Management System, for which energy savings will pay for inside 10 months.
Brochure encapsulates compressed air savings
EnergAir has encapsulated all the elements of its compressed air energy saving strategy into a new glossy A4 brochure entitled "Intelligent Compressed Air Control For Industry".
Energair is intending the guide for use by plant managers, maintenance managers, energy managers and so on.
The guide is designed to address preconceived ideas about compressed air generation (one of the major energy costs to industry).
Such preconceived ideas are regarded to be the cause of huge amounts of energy wastage and unnecessary expenditure.
Energair said that the alternatives can add literally tens of thousands on the compressed air user's 'bottom line'.
"The industry needs to challenge convention on compressed air in order to realise the savings that can be made," said Peter Tomlins of EnergAir UK.
Taking itself on the role of an independent adjudicator on the compressed air equipment debate, EnergAir believes it can provide vital knowledge regarding the following.
* Purchasing and integration of variable speed compressors.
* Compressor sizing.
* Balancing system pressure.
* Providing visibility of actual energy consumption.
* Monitoring saving when changes are made.
Energair said that this is information that would not normally be available to individual plant and maintenance managers.
The brochure also contains real examples of how savings have been made - by leading UK manufacturers such as Britvic - and the equipment used to achieve those savings.
The guide also aims to dispel some myths about how much difference new equipment can make without being properly integrated and offers advice on how to get the best from an existing compressor installation.
The EnergAir guide to reducing the running costs of compressed air systems is available in paper format free from EnergAir and as a high resolution PDF to download from the company website. Request a free brochure from Energair Solutions ...
