Suited to mould repairing welding tasks, a welding unit with a range of welding functions - including pulse modes - keeps workpiece burns, shrinkage and distortion to a minimum Engis UK is delighted to offer customers the new 'multiSpot2' innovative welding unit which is ideally suited to mould repairing welding tasks

These units will enable users to carry out many welding tasks in-house, thus avoiding unnecessary down-time, additional transportation costs and loss of direct control on the work in hand.

The pulsating functions - the main focus of the product's development - enable optimum and very thin welding to seams, corners and edges.

The multiSpot2 welding station offers six different welding processes in one apparatus: multiSpot Single Pulse, for the most delicate and exact welding, multiSpot Continuous Pulse for welding very thin seams, WIG DC for small and medium repairs, as well as WIG CD-pulse and AD and a separate mode for welding with rod electrodes.

The advanced welding technology ensures the even distribution of energy, thus keeping burns, shrinkage and distortion of the workpiece to a minimum, while the optimal use of energy makes the addition of thin welding additives from 0.2mm possible, so the smallest welding points can be applied with absolute precision.

The multiSpot 2 welding station is simple, quick and safe to use.

The equipment itself is of the highest technical quality and is very easy to operate as all settings and parameters are set directly by the operator through the control panel on the front of the station.

Operators can be fully trained in only one day of intensive education.
