EIA reports succesful exhibition

The Engineering Industries Association took a group stand at the UK's Southern Engineering Exhibition, which attracted 404 stands representing over 480 companies and over 4,000 visitors.

Almic Engineering Co, Leeds Bronze Engineering, Normec (Manchester), R M Tool Company and OTM Servo Mechanism took the opportunity to exhibit with the EIA to promote their products at this well attended show.
All the companies took great enquiries and will be following up on their return to the office.
Westway Precision Engineering, based in Southampton, won the draw for a years' free membership to the EIA.
Sir Ronald Halstead welcomed the company to the association who are CNC machinists specialising in the production of small and medium batches in all materials, especially hard-to-machine metals.
Colin Mason (EIA company secretary), Barry Marsh (chairman of the West Thames Group) and Karen Finegold were on hand to give companies their support at the show.
The EIA will be taking a group stand at the UK's North West Manufacturing Exhibition, June 7 and 8, 2006 at the Reebok Stadium in Bolton.
The EIA also have a full programme of UKTI sponsored overseas events offering UK companies GBP 1800 towards costs incurred at engineering shows in Hungary, Singapore, Czech Republic, Ireland, Thailand, Indonesia and India.
