Be vigilant when making degreasing choices
While users are keenly interested in the advantages of process cleaning, they can be confused by the amount of misinformation that seems forever presented to them, writes Derek Carpenter.
This approval was achieved under strict criteria following performance testing.
Boeing approval has now been extended to include military applications under Boeing PS 12020 specification.
This extends the use of EnSolv 5408 for vapour degreasing of aircraft of the F-18 and F-16 range.
Enviro Tech Europe said that its commitment to aerospace testing is providing clear testimony to the high performance criteria to be found when using EnSolv 5408 for critical cleaning.
Vapour degreasing remains the first choice for the manufacturing industry when seeking to degrease finished or semi-finished components, said Enviro Tech.
Commenting on the continued success of EnSolv 5408, Derek Carpenter of Enviro Tech said: "This is just one of a number of successes we expect to announce for EnSolv 5408.
Whilst 5408 holds a unique position with aerospace it is available for any critical application in industry.
This continuing level of approval offers users a number of assurances regarding performance characteristics to be gained".
The EnSolv range of products carries Patent protection and was proven by comparative studies of commonly used solvents, using In Vitro Bioassay methods of testing, to be safest for users.
This study is available from Enviro Tech and is a valuable aid when selecting a suitable solvent for degreasing. Request a free brochure from Enviro Tech Europe ...
