Luxury goods retailer tests e-commerce applications with e-test software

Empirix, which helps organisations adopt complex communications solutions with confidence, has won a contract with the world's number one online luxury retailer, Net-a-porter, to provide automated testing solutions for the company's customer-facing ecommerce applications Net-a-porter will deploy Empirix's e-test suite software to ensure that its applications work as intended and that its website performs well under heavy user load, such as during holiday shopping season or following a major promotion

The move follows the news that Britons spent more than GBP1billion buying clothes online last year, according to market analysts Mintel.
