E-Components and Chains has launched a Detectamet flexible plastic hand scraper complete with tapered leading edge to enhance cleaning/removal of foreign bodies.

Specifically developed for the Food and Pharmaceutical Industries this unique Detectamet product offers: The only Metal Detectable plastic scrapers manufactured from a specially formulated material based on high impact, food contact approved plastic.

High Impact Resistant Blue Colour (also available in Yellow, Green and Red) Lightweight Cost Effective User Friendly Design Tapered Edge for Enhanced Cleaning Very Flexible Easy to clean The Detectamet plastic material with the carefully formulated additive has been approved for direct food contact under EU90-128.

(FDA Approved) Detectamet Clipboards can be used as part of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Detectamet Scrapers are detectable and rejectable by metal detection systems used throughout the Food and Pharmaceutical Industries.

Suitable for low temperature environments (-30 degrees - + 80 degrees Celsius).
