Fibreglass grating replaces metal and wood
Fibreglass grating is used extensively throughout industry as an alternative to wood or steel as it is completely corrosion resistant, lightweight, easy to install and is maintenance-free.
Worn conveyor wearbend sections repaired readily
No longer does the user have to replace the whole corner wearbend section of a conveyor system when wear is evident as worn areas can be repaired using a ceramic filled grade of plastics.
It is completely corrosion resistant, lightweight, easy to install and will give many years of maintenance free life.
It can last four or five times longer than steel.
ECC offers grating is in three sheet sizes: 2 x 1m, 3 x 1m and 3.66 x 1.22m.

Metal impregnated glove's torn pieces detectable
A metal detectable premium quality vinyl glove that combines detectability with safe food handling ensures that a small torn section of glove will be detected on a production line.
Green is the primary colour but yellow and grey are also stocked; alternatively, ECC can supply grating manufactured in any RAL colour.
This is particularly useful for customers who have corporate colours and would like a colour match.
Tuffgrate fibreglass grating is manufactured in depths of 12mm, 20mm, 25mm, 38mm and 50mm.
A hardwearing quartz grit is added to the walking surface as standard to prolong the life of the grating and also to provide maximum anti-slip properties.
Food-grade grating without the grit surface is also a stock item.
ECC keeps a stock of at least 2000 square metres of grating at all times.
The 25mm grating weighs just 12kg per square metre and the 38mm grating weighs 19kg per square metre, making it light enough for one person to install on his own without the need for forklifts, hoists, or other lifting gear.
ECC is able to supply GRP pultrusions.
These are GRP structural shapes, pultruded in long lengths for use in GRP constructions.
Hundreds of shapes are available including box sections, tubes, solid bars, angles and H beams.
ECC offers a complete service including free survey, free CAD drawings and free quotations.
The company can install walkways or platforms on site or, alternatively, it can provide instruction to the customer's own maintenance teams.
ECC also manufactures ladders and stairways at its factory.
The ladders conform to British Standards and can be used in potable water; ladders are built to customers' exact requirements.
Furthermore, the grating is manufactured to strict ISO9002 standards so customers can always be assured of the highest possible quality.
Technical data such as COSHH sheets, fire reports, physical and mechanical data, chemical resistance guide and much more, is available.
If required, a representative can visit customers' premises to discuss particular needs.
Furthermore customers are invited to visit ECC's warehouse and office at any time to view the gratings and pultrusions.
ECC says that it will not be beaten on price or quality.
