Worn conveyor wearbend sections repaired readily
No longer does the user have to replace the whole corner wearbend section of a conveyor system when wear is evident as worn areas can be repaired using a ceramic filled grade of plastics.
Treads reduce slips and falls in the work place
Made from isophthalic resin that is corrosion resistant, fire resistant and extremely hard wearing a range of tread plates can be fitted over the top of existing stair treads.
With ECC's experience of producing high-quality components for metal detection in the food and pharmaceutical industries, the company has found it increasingly beneficial to its clients to make information easily available for quality assurance purposes.
By introducing an on-line system, ECC has been able to reduce the amount of paperwork and time involved in tracing detailed information relating to this product significantly.
Each Detectamet test piece/stick has a number etched onto its side, which relates back to the Certificate of Conformity supplied by the bearing manufacturer.

Conveyors assembled from basic parts
Plastic conveyor components, made from easy-to-clean materials, simplify conveyor design into an assembly of basic parts with the drawing available on CAD.
The ease of access, coupled with a high-quality manufacturing process, simple visible detection and colour-coded verification, makes Detectamet test pieces/sticks a very cost-effective way of managing the important aspects of safety through quality control.
Detectamet test pieces/sticks are available in the following styles.
Standard = 100 x 10 x 10mm (most widely used for metal detector testing).
Pucks = 35mm diameter x 10mm deep (convenient cylindrical shaping).
Flexible = 500mm lengths or special lengths also available to order (manufactured from FDA nylon transparent tubing; bearing is securely fixed in end of tubing; very durable; very flexible - may be bent through 90 degrees; suitable for use in pipeline detectors).
Rods = Available in 0.5m, 1m, 1.5m and 2m lengths (useful for multi-head weigher applications where detector access is difficult; durable polyethylene material, semi-flexible through 45 degrees).
High-Visibility = 100 x 10 x 10mm (translucent, high-visibility material for easy visual detection; available in a wide range of colours).
Test Balls = 35mm diameter (typically used in throat detectors).
In addition, high-strength grades and sizes are available as follow.
316 stainless steel ferrous and non-ferrous sizes = 0.3mm - 14mm as standard (others available upon request).
