E-Components and Chains (ECC) is launching a range of access ramps for the disabled.

E-Components and Chains (ECC) is launching a range of access ramps for the disabled With the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) now fully enforceable, the new disabled access ramps will help with those tricky access situations

From 1 October 2004, service providers have to make 'reasonable adjustments' in relation to the physical features of their premises to overcome physical barriers to access.

Access ramps are important to provide provision for those with mobility disability; ECC's ramps are engineered to exceed current DDA legislations.

All ramps are manufactured to ISO 9001 standards so you can be sure that every ramp is of the highest quality.

The main benefits associated with the ECC Suregrip ramps are: they help compliance with the DDA; they have a hard Grit Surface; they are extremely strong; there is a choice of sizes; and they are lightweight.

The three styles currently available from ECC are as follows.

ECC Suregrip Fibreglass Threshold Ramp - Designed to overcome wooden and UPVC door thresholds (loading capacity of 250kg; hard wearing grit surface; lightweight fibreglass construction; and DDA colours).

ECC Suregrip Fibreglass Standard Ramp - A general purpose solution to most disabled access problems (loading capacity of 250kg; easy and quick to position; contrasting guidance lines; hard wearing grit surface; and lightweight fibreglass construction).

ECC Suregrip Aluminium Folding Ramp - A portable heavy duty aluminium ramp with loading capacity of 300kg (easy and quick to position; grit surface; lightweight aluminium; and carrying handle and lock mechanism).
