E-Components and Chains (ECC) is launching a Detectamet flexible plastic hand scraper complete with tapered leading edge to enhance cleaning/removal of foreign bodies Specifically developed for the food and pharmaceutical industries, this Detectamet product makes the following claims: the only metal-detectable plastic scraper manufactured from a specially formulated material based on high-impact, food-contact-approved plastic; high-impact-resistant; blue colour (also available in yellow, green and red); lightweight; cost-effective; user-friendly design; tapered edge for enhanced cleaning; very flexible; and easy to clean
