E-Components and Chains (ECC) is launching a Detectamet metal-detectable plastic tray available in the four hygiene colour housings of blue, red, green and yellow.

E-Components and Chains (ECC) is launching a Detectamet metal-detectable plastic tray available in the four hygiene colour housings of blue, red, green and yellow Designed for the food and pharmaceutical industries the Detectamet tray measures 285mm long x 230mm wide x 50mm deep and weighs only 240g

The only Metal Detectable plastic tray available manufactured from a specially formulated material based on high impact, food contact approved plastic.

Even the smallest of particles is detectable and rejectable.

The Detectamet tray benefits include: X-ray visible; good chemical resistance; prevents damage to delicate and expensive equipment; will withstand temperatures from -30C to +80C; cost-effective against other materials; tough and durable; minimum parts; lightweight (240g); available in blue, red, green and yellow; the plastic material with the carefully formulated additive has been approved for direct food contact under EU90-128 (FDA-approved); Detectamet trays can be used as part of hazard analysis critical control point (HACCP); Detectamet trays are detectable and rejectable by metal detection systems used throughout the food and pharmaceutical industries; and, subject to a modest tooling charge and a minimum order quantity, ECC is able to incorporate a company logo/corporate identity on the trays should this be required.
