High-performance TFT panel displays
A new line of high-performance TFT panel displays has been launched by Elma to enhance its presence in the industrial PC market.

Elma Electronic UK has produced the Varietybox 35, a compact case system that can be fixed onto a wall, pushed onto a DIN-Rail or just put on the desk.
Tailored solutions can be provided for nearly every imaginable application, combined with the advantages of economical mass production.
A wide variety of solutions are available in the new visualisation product area.
Beside conventional built-in models that extend over the full 19" width (with corresponding front panels) and models that can be fitted in a 19" chassis using subpanels, models are also available for front-panel installation in switch cabinets and electronics cabinets, as well as stand-alone models with their own enclosures.
And the man-machine interface (MMI) aspect has not been ignored.
In this specific area, the range of accessories include options for wall mounting or mounting on a support arm system.
A wide variety of material options - aluminium, steel and stainless steel - combined with a choice of any desired RAL colour and application of any desired company logo are guaranteed to warm the heart of every designer.
On the other hand, users who install systems in rough environments will especially appreciate the extra protection provided by the optional IP 65 protection class (standard models are IP 54).
Special glass screens are also available for protection against vandalism.
Displays are available in sizes ranging from 8.4" to a stunning 65".
Many different models, including touchscreen panels for direct entry of operator commands, are also available.
The technical specifications are impressive: up to 16.7 million colours, brightness up to 700 cd/m, and contrast ratios as high as 500:1.
Beside the standard wide-range input voltage of 100 - 245 V AC, several other supply voltages are optionally available (primarily for operation from DC supplies).
