ERO UK has announced a Configuration Port Interface (CPI) kit, which allows its recently launched low cost LME/LDE temperature controllers to be set up using a standard desktop PC.
There are a total of seven base units in the range, from which most solutions are completed.
From the various base units it is possible to modify the units to fit the specification laid down by the customer.
This bypasses expensive new product development in terms of cost and time.
The core structure of the product is a generic development from existing din size instruments, already established with high levels of proven reliability.
From the introductory K1A, through to the profile controller K3P we can make a product fit most OEM's applications.
All instruments offer full PID control along with an auto tune algorithm (SMART).
A choice of primary output is available, and is complemented with additional outputs for either a second control output or alarms.
Another option could be the fitting of a buzzer in the system.
For times when the set up needs to be repeated on several units, there is a software tool where clone files can be uploaded into the instrument from a computer.
On certain versions there is the option of a safety trip system available.
This is an additional board that has a second temperature input and its own relay output for alarm activation.
All units are CE marked and come with the manufacturers warranty.
