Materials separation lab has powerful
magnet

A new colour leaflet depicts and describes a recently modernised and expanded laboratory facilities which house an advanced, cryogen-free Powerflux superconducting magnet.

Eriez Magnetics Europe has produced a new colour leaflet depicting and describing its recently modernised and expanded laboratory facilities in Caerphilly, South Wales The new laboratory houses the latest in magnetic separation technology, including the advanced, cryogen-free Powerflux superconducting magnet

There are designated areas for wet and dry material processing, a metal detector and electronic metal separator demonstration area as well as XRF analytical equipment for material analysis.

Customers are given the option to have a sample of their material tested to ensure that the best separation and detection equipment is chosen for a particular application and separation objective.

Qualified process engineers will make a careful analysis of the customer's requirements and, upon completion of the test(s), will produce a detailed report with recommendations.

Specialist knowledge and expertise are offered in testing and analysing materials such as minerals, especially non-metallic industrial minerals, and recycling materials.
