ESAB CD details safety protection equipment
Welding equipment manufacturer, ESAB, is making available a free CD that details the latest personal protection equipment, welding tools and accessories.
Arc welding equipment is detailed on a CD
A CD details welding equipment and welding automation products and systems and has a clear layout and just the right amount of technical data.
Four types of positioner are available with capacities ranging from 250 to 100,000kg.
These units can manipulate the workpiece to enable welding to be carried out in the optimum orientation and therefore produce welds of the highest quality.
Furthermore, the positioners can be integrated with A2/A6 automatic welding equipment so that the set-up time is minimised.
If large, heavy objects need to be held at an angle and rotated, the ESAB 3500-100,000 FA series of two-axis positioners are ideal.
Angle and speed of rotation are both adjustable manually, or the units can be linked to an A2/A6 control system.
Alternatively, the 500-35000 AHMA positioners can be used to lift, tilt and rotate workpieces.
All three axes are fully adjustable and all functions can be controlled remotely.
Esab's roller beds are available in conventional or self-aligning models to suit different welding applications.
As with the positioners, the roller beds can be integrated with A2/A6 automatic welding equipment, or can be used in conjunction with the company's columns and booms.
The Esab 5-500 TA series of roller beds are self-aligning and therefore ideal for difficult workpieces.
All four axles of the powered section are motorised, which helps to ensure smooth rotation, an even weight distribution, and the optimum welding conditions.
This is especially advantageous for heavy or thin-walled workpieces.
For other applications, Esab's 3-500 TNA conventional roller beds feature screw-adjustment for the roller position.
Both axles of the powered section are motorised, providing smooth, accurate rotation.
If space is limited, the low-profile TNA version is particularly useful. Request a free brochure from ESAB ...
