Offering touch-start for TIG work or automatic hot start for MMA welding a lightweight welder is one of 12 TIG units included in a guide ESAB's latest range of DC and AC/DC TIG welding equipment is the subject of a new 12 page publication

It features more than a dozen units, starting with the Caddy TIG 150 which weighs a mere 5.5kg, offers touch-start for TIG work or automatic hot start for MMA welding and can be used indoors or out.

It operates with a wide range of materials down to 0.5mm and has been developed for typical use in repair and maintenance welding.

A sister model, the Caddy TIG 150 HF weighs 5.9kg and is suited to HF or lift arc TIG as well as MMA work.

It is an ideal machine for welding jobs that are difficult to reach with larger equipment in site assembly or repair and maintenance work.

The new ESAB publication also details the Power TIG 160/225 for advanced repair and maintenance, the Aristotig 160/200/255 for more demanding applications and the Aristotig 400 which uses the latest Alutech chassis and the latest controls.

The Hand TIG 180 AC/DC, as portable welding unit, the Aristotig 200/255 AC/DC for high quality work with most materials, the Heliarc 252/352 AC/DC which features electronic feedback control of the welding output and the Aristotig 405 AC/DC, an easy to use and set welding unit.

The publication concludes with the Tigaid 315 AC/DC which is an add-on unit for TIG work and can be connected to an existing AC or DC power source.
