Guide covers plasma-arc cutting
equipment

Plasma Cutting Machines guide covers Esab's extensive range of conventional and inverter-driven plasma cutting machines, cutting torches and accessories.

Esab has published a new Plasma Cutting Machines guide to the company's extensive range of conventional and inverter-driven plasma cutting machines, cutting torches and accessories Users looking for a sturdy, robust, conventional plasma cutting machine will appreciate the advantages offered by the LPH series

These units benefit from a pilot arc that facilitates starting on painted and coated materials, plus easy-to-understand controls that are accessed from the front panel.

For applications calling for an extremely lightweight, portable, single-phase machine, the CaddyCut uses inverter technology and a built-in preset pressure regulator to provide the optimum airflow.

An auto-drag feature simplifies template-following and the high-frequency output from the inverter control allows fast, reliable starts to be made.

The Powercut Plasmarc models are available as single-phase and three-phase variants, all utilising inverter technology.

Compact and portable, the machines can be used indoors or outdoors on metals of thicknesses up to 38mm (cutting) or 45mm (severing).

Depending on the model selected, the machines are capable of being used for drag or standoff cutting, piercing, and starting on painted or coated metals.

Where the need is for a machine capable of heavy-duty cutting and gouging, the ESP-150 Plasmarc system is ideal.

This water-cooled machine employs conventional technology to cut through metals up to 50mm thick, using air, nitrogen, argon-hydrogen or nitrogen-hydrogen mixtures, depending on the application.

A built-in CNC interface makes it easy to incorporate the machine within automated cutting systems, and an automatic intermittent facility simplifies the cutting of grates and similar features.

Also included within the new brochure is a listing of the many different types of cutting torch and accessory available for use with Esab's plasma cutting equipment.
