During this two-day event, attendees will hear from major industry professionals about the latest in vibro-acoustic software and simulation methods.
Noise and vibration quality is a critical factor in the design of a wide range of products, from automobiles and aircraft to consumer appliances.
Vibro-acoustic problems are frequently ignored until prototypes are built and tested, late in the design process, and after significant costs have already been incurred.
VAUC 2007 offers visitors a chance to see how virtual prototyping solutions reduce the need for costly laboratory testing, speeding up the product development process and minimising the production costs of noise- and vibration-control materials and treatments.
Among the speakers, VAUC 2007 will feature vibro-acoustic professionals from a wide cross-section of industries, including representatives from Volkswagen AG, Faurecia, Alcatel Alenia Space Italia, CNES, and many others.
On the second day of the event, participants will also learn about ESI Group's latest VA One software developments through a hands-on training session supervised by the ESI VA Support Group.
Participants will also receive a VA One licence for use on their own computer.
VA One is the evolution of AutoSEA2 and RAYON software, and combines state-of-the-art Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Boundary Elements Method (BEM) and Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA) solvers in one easy-to-use environment for vibro-acoustic analysis and design.
