Esko Visualizer marks another leap forward
Esko, the leading global system integrator for packaging pre-production, announces Esko Visualizer, a new component of the Esko Software Suite 7.
At Graphispag, Esko also partners with Agfa (stand C-421).
Esko and Agfa have a global reseller agreement in place that allows Agfa to sell Esko's DeskPack and Plato pre-press software to the packaging market.
Under the terms of this agreement Agfa is able to add file creation applications to its prepress portfolio for packaging printers.
The inclusion of Esko's popular DeskPack range of plug-ins for Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and the Plato step and repeat/nesting system enables Agfa to offer a more complete workflow solution - from file creation through production.

CDI (CyrelTM Digital Imager) Esko's range of CDI Imaging Devices span the entire range for flexo printing applications: from narrow web label printing to wide format corrugated printing, from one color printed corrugated boxes to highly sophisticated security printing.
The CDI Spark 4260 addresses the highest quality flexo applications, primarily in the flexible packaging and folding carton markets, with inroads also in corrugated.
With its larger size plates and impressive productivity, but yet entry-level price, this device fits the demands of tradeshops and converters.
The DuPontTM Cyrel FAST, their portfolio of thermal platemaking systems uses a dry thermal technology for plate development, completely eliminating conventional solvents and aqueous washout solutions.
In addition to the obvious environmental and health gain, it also reduces the plate processing times by up to 300%.
The latest version of the CyrelFAST system is ideal for trade shops that tend to require a high volume of plates in varying sizes.
This new system retains all of the benefits of the smaller CyrelFAST 1000TD, producing a high quality finished plate in less than one hour, while being environmentally sensitive.
The thermal technology eliminates the need for solvents and waste polymer is collected on a non-woven fabric, making disposal simple and safe.
