Ergonomic styling go along with greater
choice

Combined switch / circuit breakers feature attractive, ergonomic styling with a smooth rocker and frame shape and offer designers even greater choice.

E-T-A Circuit Breakers has introduced its award winning New Look corporate design to its extremely versatile and reliable 3120 Series of combined switch / circuit breakers The 3120 is used widely for applications which include electrical machinery and power tools, and for marine control panels and medical equipment

The new version offers attractive, ergonomic styling with a smooth rocker and frame shape and offers designers even greater choice.

The versatile S-type 3120 circuit breaker range is designed for frequent on-off switching under normal load conditions, at the same time providing accurate overcurrent protection.

Available with or without illumination, it is suitable for switching applications up to 50V DC or 240V AC with a choice of current ratings from 0.1A up to 20A for single or double-pole applications.

The full range of series 3120 options is available for the new version.

These include a water splash protection cover, auxiliary contacts for status signalling, under-voltage release, additional magnetic overcurrent protection, a remote relay trip module, and an actuator guard that protects against inadvertent resets.

The 3120 range carries EN/IEC 60934 Circuit Breaker for Equipment approval as well as approvals from respected authorities such as UL and CSA.

The 3120 provides proven reliability for many demanding applications including recreational and workboats and is suitable for even the harshest conditions experienced at sea.

For the protection of electrical machinery, when the double-pole version is fitted with an undervoltage module, it also provides a means of meeting the requirements of EN 60204 and the Machinery Directive 89/392/EEC by ensuring that machinery cannot be started inadvertently.
