Sir Peter Williams, a chartered physicist, took up his position as non-executive chairman in January.
He is currently Master of St Catherine's College Oxford, Chairman of the UK's Science Museum, a Director of GKN plc, President of the Institute of Physics, and is former Chairman of Oxford Instruments plc.
This appointment was closely followed by that of the company's first Chief Executive, Alan Clark.
An engineer, Alan has had extensive international business experience and has held senior positions within major engineering based corporations, most recently with General Electric in the USA and Novar plc in the UK.
