Ethernet Direct's Husky Industrial Ethernet Switch Features Fast Recovery Mechanism and Hi-Pot Isolation

Ethernet Direct Corporation, a professional and primary provider of Industrial Networking and communication solutions, is proud to announce Husky Industrial Ethernet Switch's new advanced features, X-Ring, and Hi-Pot isolation Ethernet Direct's X-Ring is a self-recovery mechanism that ensures a non-stop network operation

With a network built with 20 to 30 units of industrial Ethernet switches, the X-ring redundant ring allows an auto recovery in less than 300ms when the network failed.

The X-Ring proprietary protocol incorporates both Coupling Ring and Dual Homing.

When there are more than one X-Ring group set up in a network, the Coupling Ring function ensures redundancy in the transmissions between the two ring groups.

The Dual Homing feature can ensure two X-Ring groups with redundant backup paths when connected to a backbone switch, and can be enabled in the switches to allow standby links to the upper level switch.

Ethernet Direct's Husky Industrial Ethernet Switches are designed with superb hardware and software advantages to excel most managed switches.

These switches are designed to meet with critial network environments with IP-31 enclosure and test under extensive Industrial EMI and safety.

When you use an Ethernet Direct Industrial Managed Switch, you can be confident of four hardware advantages:.

1 Auto-detection from 12 to 48VDC.

2 A terminal block located at the bottom of the device to isolate dust and water proof.

3 1.2KVA Hi-Pot tested.

4 Equipped with an AC power adaptor in case needed for testing purposes.

Other SNMP features include QoS for 4 queues, 801.q VLAN, IGMP snooping, query mode, SNTP and SMTP.

In an event of power failure and/or port down failure, the relay contact to the alarm system can immediately notify administrators by sending an email to a set of pre-defined addresses.
