Modbus gateway and DAQ modules

An Ethernet Direct product story

BMM series modbus TCP is designed to allow modbus protocol to be carries over TCP/IP based networks

Ethernet Direct, a professional and primary provider of Industrial Networking and communication solutions, introduces Modbus gateways and data acquisition modules.

The RUM series modules support the Modbus RTU protocol.

Modbus gateway provides communication between Ethernet and serial Modbus devices.

Modbus is one of the most popular industrial control and data acquisition protocol.

The communication baud rates of RUM series products range from 1,200 bps to 115,200 bps.

Currently, there are 5 product models of data acquisition modules supporting Modbus:.

* RUM-9017F - 8 diff A/I channels w/Modbus.

* RUM-9024 - 14bit, 4 A/O channels w/Modbus.

* RUM-9043D - 16 Output channels Module w/Modbus.

* RUM-9053D - 16 Digital Input channels Module/ PhotoMOS Output Module with Modbus.

* RUM-9060 - 4 Output channels, 4 Input channels with Modbus.

To further complement the Modbus modules, the BMM series Modbus TCP is designed to allow Modbus protocol to be carries over TCP/IP based networks.

Modbus TCP sets up a point to point connection.

To communicate with multiple slave devices, different TCP/IP connection is needed for each slave device.

The BMM series MODBUS gateway allows the legacy MODBUS RTU/ASCII devices to operate on a MODBUS TCP network.

It allows either MODBUS serial master or slave to communicate with MODBUS TCP's slave or master.
