Data acquisition recorders meet latest standards
Eurotherm has launched a new phase of its well-established 5000 Series data acquisition recorders. They satisfy standards for digital data storage and electronic signatures.
Batch processdata captured
As part of an ongoing programme of product improvement development, Eurotherm has launched a simple batching version of its Series 5000 Data Recorder for applications like heat treatment.
The UKAS accreditation is for electrical simulation, temperature loops, pressure loops and vacuum loops.
Full details are available from the company.
To comply with regulatory bodies, nearly all control and acquisition equipment requires routine calibration.
Eurotherm have a country-wide team of calibration engineers that can provide this service for most process control equipment.
This factory trained team are equipped with the latest calibration test equipment, and are backed up by a team of service and support engineers that are able to perform repairs, commissioning and process optimisation.
In addition to calibration, the company's calibration engineers have been trained to repair faulty products wherever possible, and carry spares, including complete instruments.
If a repair to a faulty instrument cannot be effected on-site, a calibrated loan instrument can be left running the process while the fault is investigated at Eurotherm's Worthing Service Centre.
The scope of service is comprehensive, and covers process and temperature controllers, data management and recording systems, HMIs and displays.
A UKAS accredited calibration certificate can be issued for key process parameters such as: DC electrical simulation 4-20mA 0-10V; Pressure from -1 to 20 bar; Thermocouple simulation types B, E, J, K, L, R, S, T; RTD resistance inputs, temperature control and temperature sensors.
Traceable calibration certificates can be issued for other parameters including pH and RH.
Martin Greenhalgh, Eurotherm's Quality Manager comments: "As a major international manufacturer with UKAS accreditation, we can access over thirty years of control systems expertise in support of customer's process control solutions.
And our truly country-wide team of calibration engineers - offering 24 hour service backed by powerful support and repair resources - we believe is superior to other support services currently on offer.
Customers seem to be agreeing, and a number in the most rigorously regulated industries have already signed up to the service".
