Structural adhesive is longer curing
A longer curing structural acrylic adhesive is a two-part rapid bonding adhesive designed to bond most plastics, composites, metals and wood in any combination.
Vitralit 1691 cures in just 2 min when exposed either to UV (UV-A 70mW/cmin2) or can be thermally cured when exposed to 110 deg C.
It has very low water absorption rates, typically 0.2% with very little shrinkage when cured.
Vitralit 1691 has fast UV-surface fixation and the subsequent short after-bake process with infrared radiation implies that there is no limit to the lamination strength.
Vitralit 1691 has a shelf life of six months when stored at 5 deg C with no exposure to UV-radiation.
