Miniature accelerometer ideal for
resonance search
The Model 1020 miniature accelerometer from Environmental Equipments weighs only 6 grms and is ideal for vibration resonance searching applications on very small sub-assemblies
The Model 1020 miniature accelerometer from Environmental Equipments weighs only 6 grms, is smaller than a 10p coin but has a range of +/-500g Made in Britain, the Model 1020 is ideal for vibration resonance searching applications on very small sub-assemblies used in aerospace and automobile instrumentation, computer peripherals, telecoms equipment and packaging approval testing

Tough vibration transducer can take the heat
Environmental Equipments has developed the tough Model 1070 industrial vibration transducer, which is unaffected by temperatures between -20degC and +500degC.
Despite its small size, the 1020 accelerometer has an output sensitivity of 6.0 pC/g and a very good signal to noise ratio making it especially suited to applications involving low vibration level investigations.
The frequency response is from 5Hz to 3kHz and the maximum shock load is 500g.
The operating temperature range is - 60 to +125 C and connection is by a 10x32 microdot type connector.
The 14mm wide case, machined from solid S303 stainless steel, has a plain, flat base to allow mounting using hard beeswax to avoid damage to the component under test.
When a more robust mounting is required, cyanoacrylate cement (superglue) may be used.
For use in wet environments, including underwater, a fully waterproof version is available.
