Production stoppage time averted with
logistics
Production stoppage time and the high cost of chartering were avoided when a manufacturing company used Evolution Time Critical to get parts from Italy on a bank holiday.
With critical parts ready in Southern Italy on a bank holiday, and required for delivery to their production line by 10:00 on Saturday morning, Evolution Time Critical was called The company arranged for one of its onboard courier team to collect the goods immediately and travel the long journey by train to Milan, meeting a tight connection to travel to Birmingham airport by plane landing at 07:50 on Saturday morning
The onboard courier was collected from the airport by car, the goods being delivered at 08:40 - the high cost of a charter and production stoppage time being averted.
