Software provider appoints VP sales and
marketing

Executive Manufacturing Technologies has appointed Robert Lendvai as the company's new vice president, marketing, while John Dyck has become vice president, channel sales.

Executive Manufacturing Technologies (EMT) has appointed Robert Lendvai as the company's new vice president, marketing Lendvai begins immediately based at the company's London headquarters, reporting to president and CEO Dennis Cocco

This appointment makes way for John Dyck, the previous vice president, marketing and business development, to move to the newly-created post of vice president, channel sales.

Lendvai brings 16 years management experience from global technology leaders Cognos, Business Objects, Corel and Jetform.

Most recently he served as vice president, marketing at Internet security provider Kyberpass Corporation.

His responsibilities have included business development, product management, product marketing, marketing communications and media, investor and analyst relations.

Lendvai sits on several boards and has appeared frequently in the media and at industry speaking engagements.

In 2000 he was included in the Ottawa Business Journal's list of the "Top Forty Under Forty" outstanding young business leaders.

Lendvai holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree from Toronto's Ryerson University.

"Robert is another strong addition to the VisualPlant family," said president and CEO Dennis Cocco.

"His credentials and proven track record will make a significant contribution as we continue to expand VisualPlant's sales and marketing program globally." Dyck, who joined the company in 2000 as vice president, sales and marketing, from Rockwell Automation, moved to the vice president, marketing and business development role in 2001.

His recently expanded duties also included critical channel sales initiatives.

The recent appointments allow Dyck to exercise his considerable experience in channel sales and Lendvai to focus on marketing VisualPlant.
