Dialogue's robust capabilities are making it possible for Concord to migrate applications from the mainframe with minimal development time, saving in training and labour expense.

Certified for SAP NetWeaver status for Dialogue
Exstream Software has announced its Dialogue 5.0 enterprise document personalization software has achieved certification from SAP AG for integration with the SAP NetWeaver platform.
Key drivers in the selection of Dialogue include its compatibility with Concord's mainframe production environment, its ability to accept virtually any input stream and its flexibility to support future requirements.
Concord wanted a document solution that would allow for an easy transition to a web-based system and still provide for a rules-based process that would accommodate future plans for white space messaging and the dynamic insertion of regulatory requirements into printed documents.
Dialogue is giving Concord the ability to move from its mainframe environment without modifying existing files, saving significant time.
Dialogue creates all the resources needed to output to many different output devices, so the application only has to be created one time - no additional changes are needed to the original design.
Additionally, Concord likes the fact that all tasks can be completed through an easy-to-use graphical user interface.
Changes to documents can be done quickly, again speeding time to market.
"We had a legacy mainframe solution in place and everything was being printed on an impact printer".
"We wanted to automate our internal document development process and outsource production to a laser-based print provider for more efficiency," said Amy Kezar, business development manager for Concord.
"Dialogue was the only solution that covered our transitional requirements while providing the personalisation and regulatory support capabilities we want to implement going forward".
"We are pleased that Dialogue is providing Concord Group the ability to efficiently migrate from the mainframe in order to create its business documents faster and more cost effectively," said Michael Charest, vice president, insurance business unit at Exstream.
"Concord's customers are the ones who will ultimately benefit from their initiative to streamline processes and develop more relevant communications".
"We are proud to be associated with this industry leader".
