IBM Becomes Distributor of Exstream's Dialogue Software In Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America

Exstream Software, provider of Dialogue, a comprehensive software suite that integrates personalised document creation with campaign management and tracking and multi-channel delivery, has announced an agreement with IBM, giving IBM the right to sell its Dialogue software in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America Under the terms of the agreement, IBM will offer Dialogue as part of a total print solution to European, Asian Pacific and Latin American customers who want to create full colour or black and white personalised business communications from design through printing, finishing and shipping

The new agreement builds on an existing relationship between the two companies that involves collaboration on marketing, sales and services throughout North America.

The agreement opens new opportunities for IBM to offer fully variable customised document solutions in response to market demand from customers in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

IBM identified Dialogue as the premier software solution for effectively satisfying this requirement.

Dialogue's ease of use, its ability to handle high-volume print/mail and its ondemand processing capabilities fully support IBM's focus on delivering personalised document solutions to customers.

"The alliance with Exstream enables us to expand our portfolio for providing total variable print solutions for customers," said Walt Noffsinger, Business Line Manager-Software.

"Dialogue's ability to support IBM's AFP architecture, integrate into the IBM Infoprint Workflow software, and seamlessly output black and white or colour images without changing the original application design, makes it possible for us to offer customers the simplicity of one software solution for multiple output devices".

"Through this agreement, we join IBM in its commitment to offer customers in Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America intelligent printing solutions that are easy to use and provide the best in personalised digital printing," said Davis Marksbury, president and CEO of Exstream Software.

"Dialogue delivers expanded capabilities - such as double byte character support - that facilitate IBM's mission to provide state-of-the-art document processing solutions worldwide".

"We are pleased to have the opportunity to strengthen our relationship with IBM".
