A US technology centre specialising in micro-electro-mechanical systems based photonic and microsystems technologies has selected software to improve overall process control.
Infotonics Technology Center (ITC) in upstate New York, USA, has selected Eyelit's Enterprise Manufacturing Execution ('MES') and Quality Management Software Suite for improving overall process control in its collaborative manufacturing facility ITC has established itself as the premier manufacturer in the development and commercialization of innovative MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) based photonic and microsystems technologies

He said that it is very important in the manufacture of microsystems to be able to connect the front-end (wafer fab) process seamlessly with the back-end assembly.
"Eyelit's MES provides the capability which allows us to understand how certain variables may affect the results of our processes.
