Software readily customises precise
encoder
An encoder enables programming resolution, the position of up to five reference marks and two traverse limits before and after installing the machine.
Fagor Automation will be presenting its high precision SUD Programmable Linear Encoder at EMO 2007 The encoder can be easily customised with the 'EasyPro' software to fulfil the requirements of any application, said Fagor
This software offers a graphic interface and enables fixing the position of reference marks and traverse limits both from the keyboard, entering the data, and moving the reader head to the required position and saving this position.
The SUD encoder is the first of this type in the world and enables programming resolution, the position of up to five reference marks and two traverse limits before and after installing the machine.
It offers a precision of up to +/-3 micron/min, high tolerance to vibrations and knocks and a working speed of up to 120m/min.
