Fairchild and NSI introduce Industrial "Night Vision" Keyboard and Trackball

Fairchild and NSI present their first IP67 industrial standard backlit keyboard "Night Vision".

Based on standard 105 key short travel keyboards, it combines all functions, controls and features for comfortable key input and cursor control under low light conditions as well as under normal daylight.

This sealed industrial unit integrates an IP65 50mm industrial grade trackball for accurate and precise cursor control.

All key edges, legends and the trackball contour are backlit.

The backlight is digitally dimmable at 8 distinct levels in order to set it to the operator's preference.

An automatic night/day sensor controls the on/off setting of the EL-lamp and the luminosity of the "Num Lock" and "Caps Lock" LEDs.

The Night Vision keyboard is available in panel mount or desktop version in a steel enclosure.

The units are PS/2 or USB compatible.

Typical applications include naval navigation control, aeronautics controls, studio or theatre equipment and any other applications in low light environments.
