Fastems appoints UK area sales manager
Fastems has appointed Stuart McCullagh area sales manager to provide support for customers in the Midlands, North of England and Scotland, freeing Robert Humphreys to further develop business.
With effect from July 2005, Stuart McCullagh has been appointed area sales manager for Fastems Based in Worcester, Stuart will provide support for customers in the Midlands, North of England and Scotland for the UK office of Fastems, the Finnish manufacturer of automated storage and retrieval systems for machining centre pallets and raw material

Coventry-based Viasystems has installed a new, flexible manufacturing system (FMS) for machining the front and rear extrusions that go into electronic equipment racks.
The company also offers robotic cells for deburring and machine tool loading/unloading.
The appointment will allow Robert Humphreys, who heads the UK operation, to further develop business partnerships and offer enhanced support for Fastems' machine tool partners and customers.
McCullagh has an 18-year track record in industrial automation and robotics, having worked for such companies as Renault Automation and ABB.
The former experience in particular qualifies him to act as specialist adviser to Fastems' automotive customers and prospects throughout the UK and Eire.
