Isolate machinery vibration, improve levelling
If a machine tool or piece of machinery is allowed to generate vibration it can effect nearby plant, also if not levelled properly, may lead to accuracy and maintenance problems.
Various grades of elastomeric vibration isolation materials, from fibre reinforced nitrile rubber "Squaregrip" which is used for high loading applications down to Isomat which is specially designed for shock isolation for power presses and forging hammers.
Also in the range are Neoprene, Nitrile, Natural, FAVIM (recycled) and VIDAM (cork based rubber for general purpose use).
And Jackmounts, Stainless levelling mounts, Isomounts, Isoblocks (Ideal for small to medium sized power presses), Wedgemounts, Precision Levelling Elements, Isolated foundations - Elastomeric, Coil Spring and Air systems.
Farrat can advise on the most suitable type and grade of foundation system and provide full specification, predicted natural frequencies, damping ratio, layout drawings, installation instructions and if necessary site installation or supervision.
