Isolate machinery vibration, improve
levelling
If a machine tool or piece of machinery is allowed to generate vibration it can effect nearby plant, also if not levelled properly, may lead to accuracy and maintenance problems.
Machines whose vibration is not isolated sufficiently can cause problems with nearby machines, plant and quality control areas Also, excessive noise and vibration may be happening because the machine has not been levelled properly

Range of vibration isolation and levelling
Farrat Isolevel, experts in the field of vibration, noise and shock isolation of machinery, offer of a range of vibration damping and levelling mountings for machinery installation.
Machinery levelling mounts resist chemicals
Nylon machinery levelling mounts are available in carbon and stainless steel, have a glass filled nylon plastics base and a non-skid elastomer rubber pad that resists most chemicals.
SKF bearings resist temperatures up to 350 deg C
SKF's latest Y-bearing units for extreme temperatures also resist aggressive fluids, gases and particulate matter yet they require little or no lubrication.
These are the reasons why Farrat Isolevel is offering machinery users to make use of its 44 years experience.
The company not only supplies vibration isolation and precision levelling products, it offers its expertise too.
There are many products among elastomeric, coil springs or air systems to isolate vibration.
Farrat can advise on the most suitable type and grade of foundation system.
The company will provide a full specification based on the following.
* Predicted natural frequencies.
* Vibration damping ratio.
* System layout drawings.
* Installation instructions.
* Site installation or supervision.
There are various grades of elastomeric vibration isolation materials.
These range from fibre reinforced nitrile rubber 'Squaregrip' - used for high loading applications - down to 'Isomat', which is specially designed for shock isolation for power presses and forging hammers.
Also in the range are products made from Neoprene, Nitrile, Natural, FAVIM (recycled) and VIDAM (cork based rubber for general purpose use).
Farrat also supply rubber-metal anti-vibration isolators.
The company stocks a comprehensive range and most others can be sourced at short notice.
Then, in the levelling systems offered by Farrat are the following products.
* Jackmounts.
* Stainless levelling mounts.
* Isomounts.
* Isoblocks (Ideal for small to medium sized power presses).
* Wedgemounts.
* Precision levelling elements.
Farrat Isolevel had made detailed literature available and is always interested to discuss and advice on any vibration, shock or noise problem.
