The installation of high-purity plastics piping systems has been made easier with the introduction of the Sani-techA S.I.B.A fusion welding tool.

FCX Performance has procured two of these devices to better serve its customer base.

The devices are currently housed in the FCX Amsco Fairfield and Sewell, New Jersey office locations.

The S.I.B.A technology creates a smooth interior surface at the tubing weld eliminating all beads, crevices and intrusions into the field stream.

Because of the smooth surface, the areas for contaminants and bacteria to collect are reduced.

The updated S.I.B.A 2 tool offers several improvements including; faster weld times, increased weld identification and traceability, improved durability, and ease of use.
