Conveyor modernisation aids scrap

Design, conveyor manufacturing and conveyor repairs have been completed for a metal products company, which reports it is getting 98% dry swarf - adding to scrap value.
The Cromar Group consisting of Frederick Crowther and Son in Halifax, West Yorkshire, and Cromar Metal Products in Coldstream, Scotland, have now fulfilled their capacity with regards to design, conveyor manufacturing and conveyor repairs at Cromar Metal Products in Scotland, and they are fully committed for the next six months with regards to production in both plants Frederick Crowther and Son has recently completed three swarf management systems for engineering companies in the United Kingdom

One of the systems was for processing aluminium swarf with a capacity of 10 tonnes per day, a swarf management system for brass turnings incorporating shredders, centrifuges, bar-end separators, with a capacity currently running at 14 tonnes per week.
The customer is extremely happy with the fact that he is getting 98% dry swarf, which has added to the value of his scrap and has resulted in a clean factory area.
A third system, again comprising of centrifuges and shredders, was for the processing of steel and titanium swarf with a capacity of 10 tonnes per week.
Again, the customer is delighted with what Frederick Crowther and Son has provided.
Frederick Crowther and Son are now looking for a partner in Germany and have recently taken a representative on board to look after the French market for their swarf management systems and are currently negotiating with several companies in France, two of whom intend to place an order within the next few weeks, so as far as the company is concerned they now have the technology to service the machine tool, aerospace, rail and automotive industries for any requirements with regards to swarf management.
