3D CMMs provide complete freedom of
movement
Latest range of high-performance and user-friendly 3D CMMs provide complete freedom of movement, as there are no wires or mechanical links between the super-light handy probe and measurement device.
ActiCM has unveiled ActirisT, its latest range of high-performance and user-friendly 3D Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM) based on innovative optical technology ActirisT is a totally portable and truly ergonomic solution providing the user with complete freedom of movement, as there are neither wires nor mechanical links between the super-light handy probe and the measurement device

Second generation of stamping simulation software offers a novel collaborative environment from die design feasibility to process validation and optimisation.
Spot the leak - digitally
Digital liquid leak detection instantly pinpoints - within a radius of one metre or less - liquid leaks in false ceilings, false floors, ducts, or machinery rooms.
This new technology has already gained widespread recognition in the manufacturing sector, and ActiCM is looking for local distributors.
ActiCM will be present at the Control 2004 trade show in Germany.
ActirisT relies on a combination of advanced photogrammetry (the use of photography for surveying purposes) and powerful digital image processing.
This unique combination provides a high level of accuracy in the results obtained, whilst increasing the reliability and rapidity of controls performed on parts, organs or complex assemblies, both on and off the production line.
Besides, ActirisT offers the user complete freedom of movement and allows for both automatic and manual alignment set-up.
Additional features such as easy installation and automatic calibration complete the exceptional performance levels of this 3D measurement device.
ActirisT is designed on an entirely open platform.
It is standardly supplied with the PowerInspectT software package, but it can also be interfaced with most industrial measurement software packages, which is an added advantage.
ActirisT can have a wide range of applications across the whole manufacturing spectrum, including metallurgy and metal processing, machine tool production, automotive and the transport equipment production sector.
About ActiCM - ActiCM will be present at the Control 2004 trade show taking place in Germany from 11 to 14 May 2004.
ActiCM is based in South-Eastern France (near Grenoble).
The company was set up by two engineers who originally worked for the French Atomic Energy Authority (CEA); their aim was to make available to manufacturers novel and high-performance optical technology platforms.
ActiCM's technology is the outcome of 10 years of R and D and is protected by various patents internationally.
ActiCM's technology yields considerable productivity gains in the field of industrial measurements and controls.
