Surface protection film maker expands in USA

The North American subsidiary of Novacel that produces surface protection films is currently setting up a comprehensive network of service centres across the USA.

Novacel - the North American subsidiary of Novacel - constitutes a key element in the French group's international strategy, which is based on innovation as well as the manufacturing and marketing of the specialist company's surface protective films.

Novacel is currently setting up a comprehensive network of service centres across the USA, which are enhancing the company's operations and the quality of its customer service at local level.

When, in 2000, French company Novacel acquired the surface protection division of American group Ivex, this activity took the name of Ivex Novacel.

On 1 May 2004, Ivex Novacel became Novacel Inc, as the North-American subsidiary of Novacel.

Since Novacel has been a pioneer in the field of protective films in the North American market, it made great sense for Novacel's North American subsidiary to be known as 'Novacel ' Indeed, the French group is a world leader for protective films.

In order to increase its focus on customer needs and expectations - and on the basis of the French group's proven experience in Europe and Asia - Novacel set up a network of service centres across North America, which represent as many truly local companies providing dedicated customer service.

After Chicago (Illinois), the company set up such a service centre in Palmer (Massachusetts), which started operating on 30 April 2004, followed by Redbird, close to Dallas (Texas).

These service centres allow Novacel to meet customer needs more quickly and more efficiently, to the benefit of both the group and its clients across the United States.
