Flangecombe,a specialist UK supplier of pneumatics technology located in the UK's West Midlands area, has been appointed a 'Premier Stockist' by Festo for its pneumatic control technology.

Flangecombe will offer customers in the Willenhall, Bilston and Wolverhampton areas a fast-response supply service for Festo pneumatic automation components.

The company will also provide high quality repair services for equipment that is outside the manufacturer's warranty period.

Flangecombe is a small family-owned company with an extensive background in pneumatic control technology.

Founded in 1971, the company sells a wide range of pneumatic control equipment, and also designs and builds automatic assembly systems and special purpose machinery.

Over the years, it has built up a considerable reputation for the quality of its service and support operations.

All technical personnel at Flangecombe - including its sales representatives - have considerable expertise in the application of pneumatics technology, most having worked in the industry for many years.

They will now undergo product familiarisation at the Festo national training centre in Northampton.

According to Sam Thorley, Managing Director of Flangecombe and himself a veteran of pneumatics with over 50 years' experience in the industry, "We are delighted to be able to expand our product portfolio to include Festo products.

Our customers will now benefit from a much larger choice of pneumatic components for their automation applications.

And while we intend carrying stocks of fast-moving items, we can also call upon Festo to deliver direct to our customers whenever needed.

This means Flangecombe can now offer next-day delivery of virtually any pneumatic component; the Festo range is the most extensive in Europe, with over 20,000 products.".
