At Total Processing and Packaging 2007, Festo will be launching new training initiatives and new product lines to help machine builders compete successfully in today's global marketplace.
The company is unveiling a new series of electrical piston-rod cylinders which provide high accuracy programmable positioning capabilities and are mechanically 100% compatible with Festo's DNC pneumatic cylinders The new cylinders are likely to prove extremely popular with machine designers and builders seeking to implement mixed technology automation systems for the packaging and processing industries

Festo has again sponsored the UK Skill Mechatronics competition. The triumphant winners were Sharleen Jackson and Dave Rowe of the Warrington Collegiate team.
