Bi-rotary milling head delivers high
power
Continuous bi-rotary head is ideal for medium size or large milling machines that perform high speed roughing out to finishing cutting and offers higher torque and power.
The M5A/55 continuous bi-rotary head is ideal for medium-size or large milling machines that perform the complete machining cycle, from roughing out to finishing, where higher torque and power are required in HSC (high speed cutting) applications The continuous positioning of the A and C axes with the RTCP logic allows the penetration capacity of this head to be exploited in full

CNC milling centre is stiff and accurate
Milling centre - an optimal answer combining speed and rigidity - features a cast iron structure with generously proportioned roller guides for high accuracy and stiffness.
This makes the M5A/35 head ideal for 5-axis machining, including undercut machining, specially for aerospace industry requirements.
Both axes are driven by brushless motors and are equipped with encoders mounted directly on the axis.
In addition, the axis kinematic chains have an automatic backlash compensation system and are also fitted with a hydraulically controlled locking system in order to obtain maximum accuracy and rigidity in all cutting conditions.
The spindle supplied with the M5A/55 head can rotate up to 24,000 rev/min and deliver maximum power of 55kW with 88Nm of maximum torque.
The housing incorporating the motor-cartridge is maintained at a controlled temperature by means of the continuous re-circulation of coolant.
The system can be equipped with high pressure coolant through the tool.
